What is dust and how does it affect society?

This animated video explains the dust cycle and its impacts. The video is created by inDust, which provides research and assists sectors of society that are affected by airborne mineral dust. BSC leads the InDust-International Network to encourage the use of monitoring and forecasting dust products. InDust is a COST Action in the framework of the European COST Programme and has the participation of 31 countries and the WMO.

New Call for the HPC Europa 3 programme

BSC participates in the HPC-Europa3 project, which aims to provide access to most of the top European HPC centres. Within this programme, visiting researchers have the opportunity to be hosted for a period for up 3 months at BSC and to use the centre’s resources. The visiting researchers receive financial support to cover all expenses during the stay, including accommodation and travel costs. A raise in visit stipend is expected depending on each country of destination.
