Seasonal Schools

BSC organises and hosts seasonal schools aimed at advanced students and which provide short-term intensive programmes on specialised areas of interest that are linked to the usage of High Performance resources.

An example of the success of the seasonal schools is the Programming and Tuning Massively Parallel Systems (PUMPS), a PATC and CUDA Center Of Excellence training, that has been running since 2010 and that provides week-long training aimed at enriching the skills of researchers, graduate students and teachers with cutting-edge techniques and hands-on experience in developing applications for many-core processors with massively parallel computing resources like GPU accelerators.
