HPC-EUROPA2 Project - Supercomputing facilities in Europe available to offer access to the best supercomputing resources

20 January 2009

The HPC-EUROPA2 project has just begun and its website is now up and running. The new site offers supercomputing resources to continue the provision of a high quality service for Transnational Access (TA) to the advanced HPC systems available in Europe. This programme enables researchers working in any eligible country in Europe to visit a participating research institute for up to 3 months, and to gain access to some of the most powerful High Performance Computing (HPC) facilities in Europe. The BSC, as one of the main participating centres within this new HPC Europa edition, also offers and extends this visits programme to all the nodes included in the Spanish National Supercomputing Network or Red Española de Supercomputación (RES), currently located at Barcelona, Madrid, Canari Island, Santander, Malaga, Zaragoza and Valencia
