The scientific visualization group of Barcelona supercomputing center is a multidisciplinary team focused on creating high impact images, movies, and interactive data displays. The group is formed by physics, computer, and data scientists, graphic artists, and interaction designers. This mixture allows us, as a team, to produce beautiful and appealing, as well as scientifically correct and relevant visualizations.
We see data to understand better and faster, but playing with data gives us deeper and longer lasting insights. Our data visualization research focuses on the users and their experience.
We create high end data visualizations and use them for communication, either for the society at large, for professional presentations, or for internal company reports.
Before we plot, sometimes we need to first process the data. For this, we have developed in house skills for gathering, cleaning, processing, and analyzing data (of all sizes).
