BSC returns to the ISC in its first in-person ISC conference since the pandemic

After two years of forced absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) will once again be physically present at the ISC 2022 congress, which will take place in Hamburg from 29 May to 2 June.

The new BSC corporate building, as well as the MareNostrum 5 supercomputer, which will be operational in 2023, will be the two backbones of the stand (B-203) ) that the centre will have at the ISC High Performance conference.

In addition, the BSC will offer demonstrations on the following projects and tools:

  • Eflows4HPC: The Workflows and distributed computing group manager, Rosa Badia, will give a presentation of this project on May 31, at 4:30 p.m., at the BSC stand.
  • exaFOAM: Marta García, researcher from the Best Practices for Performance and Programmability group, will speak at the BSC stand about the exaFOAM project. Her talk will take place on Wednesday, June 1 at 10:20 a.m.
  • DEEP SEA: Joel Criado, researcher from the Best Practices for Performance and Programmability group, will speak on "Exploiting OpenMP malleability with free agent threads and DLB", on June 1 at 12:00, at the BSC stand
  • POP2 Codesign: Xavier Teruel, senior researcher of the Best Practices for Performance and Programmability group, will give a presentation on codesign in POP2. It will be on Wednesday, June 1, at 2:00 p.m., at the BSC stand
