Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) and KLB Group organize a business workshop on tax incentives and financial subsidies for R&D on November 28th. The event will take place at FIB Auditorium (UPC) and registrations are free, but limited.
Firstly, the BSC Associate Director Josep Maria Martorell and the BSC Tech Transfer manager Anna Escoda will present the main solutions in High Performance Computing (HPC) applied to industry as a tool for innovation and competitiveness.
Then, Ángel Pérez Riveras from the Spanish Government (Mineco, Section of Promotion of Business Innovation) and the company KLB group will provide data on tax incentives and financial subsidies for R&D (tax deductions, SS bonus, Patent Box) and they will explain how companies can implement and maximize the tax return of their projects, investments and / or activities. Later, the Damm group will present a success story.
The workshop will conclude with a guided tour to BSC supercomputer MareNostrum 4, one of the most powerful in Europe since its recent updating last June.
