Biography

Dr. Lidia López is part of the Spanish National Bioinformatics (INB) Coordination Node at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). She is also an Associate Professor at the UPC since 2015, for the Facultat d'Informàtica de Barcelona (FIB).
 
She have been received her PhD (Cum Laude) in Software from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), with the thesis titled The Notion of Specialization in the i* Framework (2013). Being a researcher in the Software and Service Engineering research group (GESSI) at the UPC. From 2007 to 2012, she worked as Assistance Teacher at the Computer Science department at the same University,  for the School of Industrial, Aerospace and Audiovisual Engineering of Terrassa (ESEIAAT).

As a researcher she have been involved in several national and international projects. For instance, IMPaCT-Data (ISCIII, 2021-2023), VISDOM (ITEA-3, 2019-2022), Q-Rapids (H2020, 2016-2019), OpenReq (H2020, 2016-2019), SUPERSEDE (H2020, 2015-2018), and RISCOSS (FP7, 2012-2015) among others.
