Context And Mission

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the Junior Talent Acquisition Officer will ensure the implementation of HR policies and procedures giving advice to BSC members, paying attention to candidates from the first contact until their early days at BSC staff. The final candidate will be an active member of HR specialized in recruitment, onboarding and development, amongst others HR projects.

Key Duties

  • Recruitment:
    • In constant contact with the managers of the vacancies (mainly Scientific and IT Departments), organize the Recruitment processes / general calls in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition responsible.
    • Advise team leaders and directors in the recruitment strategy, the use of internal tools and the dissemination of the Job Offers.
    • Organize and make HR Interviews and psycho-technical tests.
    • Provide reports to the Directors and Group Leaders.
    • Be an active HR member in recruitment committees.
    • Support in the implementation of OTM-R package in the recruitment processes.
    • Support in the monthly reporting of this area.
  • HR Management / People Experience:
    • After the selection process is complete, prepare the offer and contact the final candidate.
    • Follow the administrative process (contract, work permit) with the Payroll/Administration Officers.
    • Manage and improve the onboarding programme: providing advise to foreigners moving to Barcelona, managing Welcome meetings etc.
  • HR Projects & Development:
    • Coordinate the HR part of the PhD programme.
    • Support the design and implementation of HRS4R projects.
    • Support the definition of HR policies and procedures.

    This is not a full definition of the role but covers the main aspects and drivers for success.

Requirements

  • Education
    • University Degree (Labor Relations, Work Sciences, Social Sciences or Psychology).
    • Master Degree in Human Resources or postgraduate degree will be a plus.
  • Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
    • 2-3 years of experience in similar position, preferably in a cutting knowledge organization.
    • Experience in an international environment.
  • Competences
    • Excellent verbal and written Spanish and English. Other languages will be a plus.
    • Strong skills in Microsoft office, specially advanced in Excel.
    • Planning and organizing (Structured mindset).
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment.
    • Good communication. Team work.
    • Proactive Cooperation (Desire to learn, propose solutions, improve).
    • Ability to Influence.
    • Flexibility.

Conditions

  • The position will be located at BSC within the Management Department
  • We offer a full-time contract, a good working environment, a highly stimulating environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure, flexible working hours, extensive training plan, tickets restaurant, private health insurance, fully support to the relocation procedures
  • Duration: Temporary - 3 years renewable
  • Salary: we offer a competitive salary commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate and according to the cost of living in Barcelona
  • Starting date: 12/09/2019
