Context And Mission
Reporting to BSC’s Technology Transfer Manager, the TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER Junior officer on innovation projects will support the execution of the activities defined in innovation projects, mainly focused on identifying, registering, protecting and facilitating the exploitation of BSC’s research results. He or she will also help with activities which reinforce BSC’s positioning in HPC innovation ecosystem by promoting the use of BSC’s portfolio of technologies to society and market.
Key Duties

Help with the execution of innovation and entrepreneurship projects at BSC
Help to organize BSC events into High Performance Computing innovation ecosystem - Responsibilities
1. Provide help with the execution of entrepreneurship projects at BSC in the most appropriate way
a. Provide help organizing training events for entrepreneurs
b. Provide help on actions to be developed in entrepreneurship projects
2. Provide help organizing BSC events for reinforce BSC presence into HPC innovation ecosystem
a. Attend and organize, if needed, meetings and teleconferences
b. Write and contribute to project deliverables
c. Participate in the TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER PROJECT committees and follow the development of exploitable technologies
Requirements

Education
- Business or Law degree preferred (applicants with a science or engineering degree will also be considered)
- Knowledge on innovation, IPR management or similar a plus

Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
- Work experience is not essential but candidates who have knowledge of the following areas, will be at an advantage:
○ Computer and Computational Sciences
○ Innovation management

- Fluency in English, Spanish and Catalan essential

Conditions
- The position will be located at BSC within the Directors Department

- Duration: Open-ended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration
- Salary: we offer a competitive salary commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate and according to the cost of living in Barcelona
