Getting to Bellaterra Campus (Mon-Wed, UAB)

The Venue takes place at the UAB “Bellaterra” Campus in the area near the “Auditori de Lletres” building (Arts Auditorium). You can access the SSC 2014 venue both by train, bus or car. If you are at the Campus Hotel or “Vila Universitària” Residence, you are at walking distance.

By train

There are two different train stations in Bellaterra Campus, served by two different companies: the RENFE (spanish general network) and the FGC (Catalonian local network).
The FGC station “Universitat Autònoma” is located inside the Campus, at walking distance to the Venue.
The RENFE station “Cerdanyola Universitat” is located out of the Campus and a free bus service takes you to different stops inside Bellaterra Campus; take the free bus to the “Lletres i Psicologia” stop to reach the “Auditori de Lletres” building.

RENFE has 2 different lines to go to the Campus (R7 Barcelona-Cerdanyola Universitat and R8 Martorell-Granollers). If you are in Barcelona you will have to go to “Sant Andreu Arenal” Station to get this train. You can go there by metro -Line 1 (red), “Fabra i Puig” station- or by another line of RENFE (R3).

By FGC

The “Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya” FGC has 2 stations in the area of UAB Campus: “Universitat Autònoma” (where the SSC’14 is going to be) and the “Bellaterra” station (where the Hotel Campus and the Vila Universitària is located). From Barcelona you can take the blue line S55 or the green line S2 (service every 10 minutes max.).
This services connects the Campus with Barcelona in approximately 40 min. and with Sabadell in 10min.

Note that 23:17 is the departure time for last train from Barcelona “Plaça Catalunya” to “Bellaterra” station (Hotel Campus or Vila).

By bus

There is a Bus called “e3” that goes from Barcelona to Bellaterra every 20-30 minutes with a stop in the hotel Campus/Vila Universtària, and in the Venue of the SSC. The journey takes about 40 minutes until Barcelona La Sagrera-Meridiana.

By car

You can take the AP7 motorway, heading Girona-France, exit at junction “Universitat Autònoma”. Also you can go by C-58 motorway, heading Sabadell-Terrassa, exit at junction 8 which is connected to AP-7, heading to Tarragona. Stay on the service road there and exit at junction “Universitat Autònoma”.  Various secondary roads communicate the nearby towns with the Campus.
