The 4th Workshop MATH-EX 17, Mathematical Methods and Algorithms for Extreme Scale, is part of the International conference in Computational Science (ICCS2017), to be held in ETH - Zurich, Switzerland, 12-14 June 2017. The theme for ICCS 2017 is “The art of Computational Science. Bridging Gaps – Forming Alloys”. ICCS is an ERA 2010 A-ranked conference series.

The 34th BRIDGE workshop is part of the International conference in Computational Science (ICCS2017), to be held in ETH - Zurich, Switzerland, 12-14 June 2017. The theme for ICCS 2017 is “The art of Computational Science. Bridging Gaps – Forming Alloys”.

The workshop focuses on the Mathematics for Exascale, Data Science and in a wider aspect Digital Science challenges. In the above context, this workshop brings together key stakeholders to outline the needs, the challenges and approaches to address them, as well as to discuss possible synergies and similarities between the different EU initiatives in those areas.

This workshop is open to all the Spanish and Portuguese research data stakeholders interested in RDA willing to share their opinions and to participate in RDA activities.

Started in 2011, the Mont-Blanc project leverages the fast growing market of mobile technology for scientific computation. During the project, several ARM-based computational platforms have been deployed and configured as production systems for HPC. Also, a complete software stack has been developed and consolidate in order to allow the execution of most complex parallel codes. The Mont-Blanc project have paved the way for enabling ARM in HPC and with this event the Mont-Blanc project wants to promote and encourage the exchange of experiences and knowledges among all the major players that contributes to make ARM-based scientific computing a reality.
