Objectives

ECCB2020 goes Virtual.

The ECCB2020 Organising Committee has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation globally and its impact on the conference. As the situation continues to change rapidly, our top priority remains to ensure the health and safety of all the ECCB2020 participants. This is the reason that leads us to announce that ECCB in its traditional format will be postponed to 2022 and a fully virtual edition for ECCB2020 will be organized. This virtual edition - the first one in 19th editions - will be structurally simpler to facilitate attendees' interactions while keeping the spirit of the ECCB series

The 19th European Conference on Computational Biology will be held on 7-8 Sept 2020.

ECCB2020 is the main European Computational Biology and Bioinformatics conference, gathering scientists from a broad range of disciplines. This rapidly growing event attracts more than 1,200 participants from academia and industry each year: leading bioinformatics researchers, computational biologists, Bio-IT professionals, researchers in molecular biology, molecular medicine, biophysics, biostatistics, and systems biology, as well as students from Europe and around the world. Bioinformatics and Computational Biology are flourishing disciplines in virtually every research lab across life science sectors, from clinical research to crop and livestock breeding, landform nutrition research to industrial biotech. The fields are in thrilling progress, continuously pushing the boundaries in life science research & development.
