BSC’s Technology Transfer Office helps to transfer knowledge and technology developed at the centre to industry worldwide, and promotes the use of HPC by local industry in order to increase its competitiveness. The Technology Transfer Manager works with researchers to identify technology with commercial potential and to protect this technology in the most appropriate way; to promote and license BSC’s know-how and technology through agreements with companies and the foundation of spin-off companies; and to promote consultancy services and research agreements.
