The ceremony for the introduction of the new members took place on Friday, 24th, in Naples (Italy). Valero says that "this honor encourages me to continue working hard in Research and Science, both fields I have always been devoted to".
The Academia Europaea, founded in 1988, elected Mateo Valero, Director of BSC, as a new member of the Section of Informatics. The aim is to recognize his great dedication to Science and Research.
