National Institute of Bioinformatics - Computational Bioinformatics Node

Overview:

logoThe aim of the INB is to generate and apply bioinformatics solutions to special requirements emerging from the development and execution of national research projects with a genomic or proteomics focus. INB is funded by Instituto de Salud Carlos III

NODE DIRECTOR

Gelpí Buchaca, Josep Lluís

Objectives:

Missions of INB Computational Nodes are:

  1. To provide computational power and technical skills to support activities of the ongoing projects of institute members and other bioinformatics groups.
  2. To provide and maintain biological databases of general use.
  3. To provide general purpose bioinformatics analysis applications

Applications and database management are offered to external users as webservices, following to the BioMoby protocol
