National Institute of Bioinformatics - Computational Bioinformatics Node
Overview:
The aim of the INB is to generate and apply bioinformatics solutions to special requirements emerging from the development and execution of national research projects with a genomic or proteomics focus. INB is funded by Instituto de Salud Carlos III
NODE DIRECTOR
Gelpí Buchaca, Josep Lluís
Objectives:
Missions of INB Computational Nodes are:
- To provide computational power and technical skills to support activities of the ongoing projects of institute members and other bioinformatics groups.
- To provide and maintain biological databases of general use.
- To provide general purpose bioinformatics analysis applications
Applications and database management are offered to external users as webservices, following to the BioMoby protocol
