Taking place in Prague from 18-20 January, the 11th HiPEAC conference will bring together over 600 experts in computer architecture and compilation to tackle crucial issues facing the computing systems on which we depend. Three keynote talks, 33 workshops, nine tutorials and 37 papers over the three-day conference will explore topics of growing relevance in today’s increasingly connected world.

BSC is playing a central role in the programme, with researchers offering workshops on key conference themes, such as energy efficiency and heterogeneous architectures. Workshops co-organised by BSC researchers include the following:

The conference will also see the launch of the latest incarnation of the HiPEAC project, now in its 11th year, which will build on past successes by offering members communications and recruitment services to ensure the potential of European research is fully realised. It will highlight HiPEAC’s central role as an engine for translating research into value, featuring spin-off companies from European projects, such as software specialist emmtrix Technologies commercializing the results of the ALMA project, as well as the winners of the HiPEAC Tech Transfer Awards. A recruitment booth will be available at the conference, helping companies match European talent to their needs.
