Operations

Operations group has two major missions: System administration and User support. The department is led by
Dr. Sergi Girona, Operations Director.

• System administration area: includes MareNostrum’s pure system administration, security, resource management, networking & helpdesk. The service is guaranteed via an automatic mechanism which informs at any time of events, and reacts automatically to recover most technical problems.
• User support area: includes direct user support with knowledge in programming models, libraries, tools, applications, etc.
